I believe that everything happens for a reason. As humans, we may not always understand that reason. When we don’t understand, we try to create meaning. You and I together will strive to collaborate logical meaning to your world and your experiences, by meeting you where you are and helping you gain the skills and insight you need to understand your experiences.

My therapeutic style is a person-centered approach, as you have the roadmap to your past experiences and future possibilities. I am an empathetic therapist as I strive to be understanding of your experiences, and your way of thinking. It is important to me to interact with every individual as just that; an individual. Thus, your therapeutic plan will be curated for YOU. In addition, I have found a passion in supporting relationship improvement (parent/child, couple, families, etc.) by understanding the relational differences within the specific system.

Before my time here at The Family Development Center, I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Concordia University. I spent the last 6 years working primarily with children in clinical or school settings. I strive to expand my scope of practice beyond children to include individuals of all ages, couples, and families. I currently attend the University of Minnesota where I will earn my Master’s Degree in child development and clinical mental health. In my free time, I enjoy making time for self-care, spending time with loved ones, mastering my hobby, and coaching young student-athletes.
