Ayn Rassier, M.A.
she/her
I believe all human beings are worthy of compassion and acceptance. I strive to meet individuals and couples where they are as they navigate life transitions and reflect on the journeys that have led to the present day while honoring the courage and vulnerability it takes to pursue therapy.
As an intersectional, collaborative, and empathetic therapist, my practice is informed by person-centered, system-minded approaches, and most importantly the unique needs and experiences of my clients. You are the expert of your own life and I look forward to developing tailored support while empowering you through the many transitions, challenges, and triumphs that life has in store.
Prior to joining The Family Development Center, I served in higher education for nearly a decade, where I focused on supporting undergraduate and graduate students of a wide range of identities and experiences through the life transitions that marked the beginning and end of their studies, with a particular passion for career exploration. In an effort to become a better advocate and ally for individuals and the broader community, I expanded on these experiences through a Master’s in Counselor Education from the University of Minnesota, focusing on clinical mental health.
Outside of my work with The Family Development Center, I enjoy outdoor adventures with my dog, reading, cooking, volunteering, endless conversations with friends, and seeking out laughter wherever I can.
