Supervisor Position

Position Title: Licensed Clinical Supervisor

Location: Hybrid; at least 50% in-person

Position Level: MN Board-Approved Supervisor

Classification: Salaried

Job Type: Full-time preferred; open to Part-time applicants

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide Clinical Supervision for Graduate Level Interns and Mental Health Practitioners.

  • Provide outpatient mental health therapy to your client caseload (quota varies depending on FT or PT status and number of supervisees)

  • Complete required paperwork for documentation and insurance billing.

  • Review and approve documentation for supervisees.  

  • Attend the clinic-wide weekly consultation group.

    • Wednesday 12:15-1:45 pm.

  • Attend the bi-weekly consultation group for supervisors

    • second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 2:00 p.m.

  • Offer at least three (3) evening or weekend appointments (may vary depending on experience level)

  • Represent The Family Development Center at community events and training throughout the year.

  • Adhere to the ethical standards of the Minnesota Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Board of Social Work, and Board of Behavioral Health,

  • During the period of client ramp-up, provide support to the clinic as requested. 

Requirements

  • Background check

  • Hold a current professional license (LICSW, LMFT, LPC, etc.)

  • Certification as a MN Board Approved Supervisor in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or Professional Counseling

  • Completed or willing to complete the PSI (Postpartum Support International) Perinatal Mood Disorders certification
