Kelsie Ballentine

Licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist

Kelsie Ballentine, MS LAMFT

SHE / HER

I believe that admitting you are not okay and asking for help is one of the bravest things a person can do.

In my work with clients, I aim to meet them where they are and begin our work there. I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative space where we can work together to find growth and change. I enjoy working with both individuals and couples as they seek to find healing, self-awareness, and groundedness.

My training in attachment theories, including Emotionally Focused Therapy, help me work with individuals and couples to gain insight in their individual and relational contexts. I am also trained in Brainspotting, which allows me to support clients in processing traumatic or distressing experiences. My therapeutic approach is largely strengths focused, experiential, relational, and trauma informed. I enjoy working with clients on issues related to depression, anxiety, family of origin, life transitions, and relational concerns. I seek to tailor my approach based on the client’s needs and goals."
