Will O'Berry (he/they) currently serves as the Interim Director for the President's Emerging Scholars Program at the University of Minnesota.

A learner, educator, facilitator, philomath, polymath, and student affairs professional, Will grew up in Southampton County, Virginia, and is proud of his rural, working-class upbringing and journey as a first-generation college student and professional. Will has undergraduate degrees in music and psychology from Indiana University and Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, received his master’s in college student affairs administration from the University of Georgia in 2010, and is a graduate of the Social Justice Training Institute (2018) and SJTI Renewal (2023).

Will enjoys spending time with his husband, Brian, their little dog, Frisco, and the constructed family he’s made along the way. He's also a lover of podcasts, reading (anything related to happiness, self-care, positive psychology; whiteness studies; racial and social justice; fantasy and science fiction), astronomy, classical music, Legos, running, nature, and video games.
