SHE / HER

“You will face many defeats in life, but never let yourself be defeated”

- Maya Angelou

Life is a journey that holds joy, grief, love, despair, and everything in between. At times, navigating these experiences alone can feel overwhelming, and therapy can be a place to remember that hope and support are possible. I am deeply passionate about meeting people where they are in life and walking alongside them with compassion, respect, and openness. I honor the inherent dignity and worth of each individual, couple, and family I work with.

I am a systems-trained therapist, which means I view people within the multiple contexts that shape their lives—including family, community, culture, and the larger social systems that influence how we make meaning of our experiences. This is particularly important in my work with Latine clients, where I strive to offer culturally responsive, affirming care that acknowledges both personal experiences and collective histories. As a Latine therapist, I draw on my lived experiences in my work. These experiences have taught me that life is not a solo trip. This framework is central to my therapeutic approach.

I work with individuals, families, and children ages eight and up.

I am trained in Brainspotting, including Brainspotting with children, and integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches. Therapy is collaborative and centers on identifying strengths, building skills, and supporting healing that is relational, empowering, and grounded in each client’s lived experience.

I like working with children using a directive play therapy model. In particular, I love using art, creativity, games, and relational activities to support emotional expression, processing, and skill-building.

I look forward to working with you.
